I recently built a new system and have been having problems with it. The screen would show up with a checkerboard of artifacts, and sometimes followed by a bsod saying "video scheduler internal error", I've installed new drivers on the card multiple tines, preformed a ram check, disk check, and updated bios. The card I had installed was a red devil rx 570 brand new off of amazon. I had a 6870 lying around and tried that. The 6870 has no problems and never blue screens. Would this mean a need to get a replacement from power color? My psu is 600w, more than enough to handle the rx 570. I have a 6-pin to 8-pin connector on the rx570 but not the 6870, would this be the issue? Could my motherboard not be accepting the newer gpu. I think this is the problem as I bought a Chinese x79 motherboard off of amazon. But I really have no clue.
