Heylo everyone,

I am currently planning a home theater build that is gaming forward in a SFF Case. Personally, I really want to go with a node202 because of the smaller form factor. I currently have a 1080P TV and will be buying a 4k TV as an upgrade in the near future Tv Linked Here. Its not a great tv and I am not looking to do any crazy intense gaming on it, but I want the games that I do play to look good (Ori and the Blind Forest, Okami, Hat in Time, Spyro, Crash, PUBG, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil 7, Saints Row, GTA 5 just to kinda get an idea.)

I tried out my current build:

  • GTX 1070
  • i7 4790k
  • 16 GB DDR3

and these games seemed to run... fine... but I would like it to run a little better. I am aiming for any sub $1k build to accomplish this. The lower the better tbh.

Things the build are definitely going to include:

  • m.2 ssd - 128-500gb
  • 2TB 2.5" hdd
  • Node 202 (or similar size)
  • 16gb ram

Any constructive input would be great!

Thanks!
