Leaving USB Interface plugged in

I have a Lexicon USB interface I use for recording instruments. I only use it once every few days but I leave it plugged into my computer all the time, meaning it is on whenever my computer is on. Will this extended usage damage it? Should I unplug it when I'm not using it?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

i cant see it damaging anything unless you have a power surge. But it might be a good idea to unplug it when you leave your house for any extended period of time like more than 2 days
