New GPU black screen.

I recently bought a Rx 590 to upgrade from my gt 620 I've had for 7 years. But, no matter what I try everytime I turn on all the fans start up. But with my keyboard and mouse plugged in (both have rgb) neither of them turn on and the screen is black. If I unplug the 8 pin power connector to the card and connect the monitor to the igpu it loads up fine. 

 

I5-2400

750 evga PSU

Upgrading from a Nvidia Gt 620 to a AMD rx 590.

 

Things I have tried. 

Removing cmos battery. 

Dduing the old NVIDIA drivers and disabling the ipgu.

Checked that the slot works. 

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Could be a bum video card, try plugging it into another system and see if it works. Also post your Mobo

Hey ugh sorry if this turns out to be bad decorum I'm new. 

 

But I built the cheap Dell gaming computer and every graphics card I put in leaves the same problem. Do I need a cord or something I'm missing

sorry this is the motherboard I have. Do not have another system I can put the card in. Joshua-H61-uATX

Maybe one of your cables is faulty.

Also, check and make sure you're even getting power out of your PSU on the PCIe power cable, that rail may have died but since you never used it, you never knew.

Figured it out. Motherboard bios needed to be updated to 8.0 or higher.
