Somethings up with my pc

Simply put idk what's happening w my computer, it has a ryzen 7 2700x, 16gb of ryzen gskill rgb ram at 3200mhz, rtx 2070 and an rog x470-f motherboard. I'm not suffering serious issues but for some reason my old gtx 1080, 7700k w/ 16 gb of 2666 mhz ram out berforms it by around 800-1000 points 8n unigine benchmark and oddly enough Minecraft suffers immensely, w my new system peaking at 55 frames even with maximum performance settings enabled.

I've tried msi afterburner and enabling the ram to 3200mhz in the bios but nothing really seems to be working.

I know it's not the gpu since I tried the 1080 in the system and got similar results.

Any thoughts?

The 7700K (especially overclocked) would have a decent lead over the 2700X in some benchmarks and any single core stuff (minecraft is mostly single core still AFAIK).

Running any mods and such in Minecraft or is it Vanilla? And the windows version or the normal Java? In java I push 200+ fps with my 4.6Ghz 5820K (I think it has slight lead in single core over a 2000 series Ryzen with 3200Mhz CL16 RAM at that clockspeed), if I slap in crazy lighting mods and max everything possible I drop to a 30fps crawl, lol (CPU is paired with a Radeon VII btw).
