I have constant stutter whenever I play games on my PC and its around 30-40% just when im in chrome which is super high. Then whenever I play games it instantly jumps too 100% and the games are pretty much unplayable and all 6 cores are at 100%. Ive even bought a ssd since someone told me it could be my hdd.. Still stutters then i even cleared a bunch of files and junk files to see if it would help loosen the load.. NOPE still is SUPER high ive even rolled back gpu drivers helped a little but still stutters non.. stop when im gaming. I also came across a video of someone saying this could help (

) and it seemed to help a few but some people got locked out of there computers because of it and I dont want to be chaging stuff around my pc and maybee screw the whole thing up. And my friend who is somewhat of a computer wiz said its kinda sketchy to change the Value in "Edit DWORD (32-bit) Value. So if anyone has any ideas as too what it might be because at this point i might just have to settle with just getting a new pc all together.. And I really dont want too blow money on something like that right now.. SORRY for jambling on this has been bothering me for almost two weeks now so anything helps here are my specs and some links that could help give more info:

i5 8600k

gtx 1070

16 gb RAM

All cores when playing D2 with a few tabs open ignore it when its below 90 thats because i tabbed out of the game to record it:

SO if anyone could help i would really appreciate it thank you.

I would recommend running some security checkups like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (full scan) and cleaning out what it finds.

Also, run this as admin:

Okay my gpu usage is usually around 70-90% when gaming also to answer you're last question I use bitdefender as security and lastly the thing you linked says its can put my computer at risk? Is it ok if I run it then?

If it's stuck on 8% it's doing something on that 8% and it will continue.

No need to be tech savvy to run the script, it does everything itself, it just needs some reading and a few key presses from the user.

If you are sure nothing is running in the background, prolly just weak cpu. I have the same issue and have to do the ini file fixes for some games. Should be able to turn up the scaling and see if it helps and would tell you if that’s the issue.

Wouldn’t know about that. I don’t use chrome and haven’t since it came out. This is another reason why.
