So i was looking into buying a home server. Nothing to special, I will use it to hoast a minecraft server up to 20 players, and maybe some other games like Arma 3. As well as using it to host game servers i was wondering if it as well can be used as a server archive for school files, and if so, which OS would be the best for my use?

When it comest to hardware i was thing about buying a Ryzen 7 2700 and would like some criticism if the CPU is decent in my kind of usage. For RAM i have setteld on a "Samsung M393A4K40CB2-CTD 32 GB" and was wondering if you need at least two ram sticks for it to work, or if is's enough whit only one.

I also need a bit of help on how to choose a motherboard and a PSU, as i am not that familiar with these components yet.
