My friend Bought some ram from my store the other day (Corsair Vengeance Pro 2x16GB 3200MHz) He was putting it into a Ryzen 2700X System build on an Asus ROG X470-F Gaming Motherboard and was getting critical memory errors with windows 10.

I got him to run a Memtest (4 passes) and there were 0 errors. He swears he didn't change anything in the bios after i installed the ram and left him with the machine. I had him reinstall it in A1-B1 instead of A2-B2 and had him take out the Cmos battery (to reset the bios settings) Is there anything that anyone knows of that might have caused this issue other than an unstable overclock ? (I did show him how to enable "XMP" but it seemed stable when i tested it)

If people need any extra information. I will be around the Desktop Later today to provide. ?
