New Gaming Pc / workstation

Hi guys so I’m planning out my first Pc build. I want this build to be a more than capable work station that will also allow me to enjoy my hobby of gaming. In specifics I’m a photographer and Learning videographer looking to go into video mainly however video editing is seriously hard my current system, it’s a shit box optiplex low profile. I’m looking to build a machine that can easily handle multitasking running programs. I’m looking for some advice on what components are best to put my money towards and which are not. I’m not on a cheap budget either. At this point I’m willing to spend $2500-$3000 max on this project. I’ll also add a build list on this thread soon. Thanks guys!

3000USD. RYZEN 3900X WITH A 2080Ti IT IS! seriously though, its basically top of the line all the parts. if you are only a photographer and a learning videographer, you dont need a pc anywhere this powerful. in fact even for very heavy video work, a rig with a 3700x and rtx 2070 super and 32gb of RAM will be more than enough.

seriously though, unless you really have unlimited money to spend, i would suggest only spending about $2000 on the rig and putting more money into a good monitor which you will need.

Please, absolutely don't recommend that trash motherboard. It's the second worse x570 there is after the a-pro, it's a complete waste of money. There are much better motherboards for that price point, like the steel legend, the tuf or the aorus variant, or for an even lower price point the asus prime p is much better still. That's valid for both the builds you linked the same mobo in both

Thanks guys this actually helps a lot, I’m still saving so a lot of this stuff will drop price but yea I was leaning towards the $2000 on the main Pc for the reason of buying a good monitor
