Logitech Mouse Issue

I have a Logitech g203 prodigy gaming mouse in the color black. I recently started having the issue where every few minutes the mouse would rapidly blink red for a few seconds then return to the normal breathing pattern. From doing some research online and asking friends, wireless Logitech mice would flash red in this fashion when running low on battery but the model i have is wired. Everything else on the mouse is working fine, with no connection or USB issues but rather the light flashes in that strange manner.

Do you perhaps have Logitech Gaming Software or G-Hub allowed to modify the lighting?

 

There's a setting inside Logitech Gaming Software & G-Hub that gives the drivers permission to alter the lighting during games, such as blinking red on low health, taking damage, or green on a kill, something to that degree.
