I have an ASUS PB287Q that I'm using as my secondary monitor and is plugged into my 1080 Ti via DisplayPort. I also have a primary monitor plugged in via DisplayPort. Whenever I turn the monitor on, I get signal for 3-10 seconds, then the screen goes black (as if the monitor were off) but the monitor is still on. I now have an HDMI cable running to the PC from the monitor and haven't had any issues. Do I need a new cable?

Have you tried swapping the cables between the monitors? Do you have any other video signal source to try the cable with? Might also be a driver / software issue, as DP is known to be buggy as hell, so check if there's any video driver update or if running from a live USB distro yields the same results
