I recently have been having problems with stuttering and low fps in games and in windows. It started a few days ago when Destiny 2 moved to steam it was fine before ive tried uninstalling the game and installing it again because I thought at first it was just the game. I have my pc hooked up too two monitors 144hz and a tv which i hardly use and never have had any problems for almost a year until now. Idk if anyone has any ideas as too what I should do because I really dont want too have to delete windows then install it again that would be a huge pain.. BUT if anyone could possible know how to fix it that'd be greatly appreciated also here is a gif of the fps test on ufo.

Also here are my specs:

i5 8600k

1070

16gb of RAM

HDDs can show problems after only a couple years of heavy use. Also I'm thinking that the nearly 80GB destiny 2 install might have filled up the boot drive so much that the system is having issues. leaving less than 20ishGB on your boot drive can really mess with overall performance as windows uses that storage for system utilities and such. this problem is often more pronounced on HDDs but still occurs on SSDs.

The C drive is my SSD which is my boot drive and the D is the one I use strictly for games the HDD
