You only need one.  As to which one, depends on the slots that you use.  The slots refer to the PCI slot covers.   If you are a visual person, look at this link from EVGA that shows a picture of what a 3 slot is talking about.  A 4 slot is just one added slot.  I use a 3 slot in mine.

Hello everyone

I am building up my PC right now, got a few questions about the NVlink.

Using a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master Motherboard, and planning to put 2 Gigabyte 2080ti Xtreme in the system. I noticed the NVlink bridge has 3 slot and 4 slot, which is the one to choose? How many of them should I buy?
