honestly just plug both into your 1050ti and sell the 950ti before it goes lower in price than it is

this is more likely to decrease dual monitor performance than increase it

If I had one wish, I would ask for a big enough ass for the whole world to kiss

Yeah, i use an GTX 1050Ti and an GTX 950Ti

You can have more than one monitor plugged into the same GPU. Do you have a specific reason for using the two?

I have a setup like yours except with AMD GPU's and Linux is doing fine with 1 monitor per GPU. I'm on Ubuntu 19.04.

I would get a cheap adapter and see if it works when it's plugged into GPU0. I find DVI to HDMI adapters work pretty well.

You can live boot it off a thumb drive. May not have to do a full install to check if it does any better.
