I may buy a Korean 1440p, will this be ok for CS:GO competitive, I heard that you could overclock up to 120 without hassle

As long as you can get 120 you will be fine but you risk not being able to get the OC you want. But a few tips if you are going to play competitively (to any degree).

 

First is play at a lower resolution and second is a 4:3 resolution (with black bars) makes it easier to see minimap although some prefer the fov of 16:9.
