Hello my fellow humans

I am in a bit of a pickle, since my trusted samsung gear iconx 2018 earbuds have perished.
As such, I am looking for a simuliar pair of earbuds, preferably with the same control scheme, since i often use just one at a time

Controls:

tap to pause

double tap to skip

triple tap to go back a song

swipe up to increase volume

swipe down to decrease volume

Any suggestions?

i am considering that, but I was wondering if there were a better alternative

If you're on a budget - Galaxy Buds would be a good choice. If you have more money to spend, I'd go for the Sony WF-1000XM3.

Not a big fan of the individual control of the Sony WF-1000XM3, and arent the samsung buds fragile?

The Sony ones are about the sound quality and active noise cancellation, I bet you could get used to the controls. They're too big for my personal taste though (Shrek syndrome) so I jumped on the Galaxy Buds because I like the Harman sound and how it's configured. The Galaxy Wear app is great too, easy to use etc. Headphones come a lot to personal preference so recommendations are tough.

I suppose the Galaxy Buds are just as fragile as any other TW earbuds.

There certainly might be, I just happen to own the ones that died on you and like them a lot. Though one of the pieces sometimes goes out randomly so perhaps mine might follow suit to yours...

Do you know of a pair with simuliar control schemes? The ability to control the volume with a swipe is something i can only find on the iconx

I hear the Pixel Buds have those gestures, though the reviews on them are pretty mixed.
