So my dad brought this pc from work (they have many of these which arent in use) and he brought it home for me to see if i can make anything off it. I connected it to everything and turned it on. However, after a couple minutes it turned off by itself whilst i was in the bios, and when i would press the power button it would turn off after a second. If i waited a few minutes before turning it back on again it would run for a minute or so and then turn off again. I checked the bios and the cpu warning was disabled, so what could be wrong?

I know the temps are a bit high and im not sure why  theres a Corsair watercooler in it

Hi @CaptainChaos025

A good start might be to blow all dust out of the fans and cooling and to restore BIOS settings to default. Does it give any error message before shutting off? Are you able to boot into Windows or won't it get past the BIOS?

Ok i can try blowing the dust out, tried resetting the bios to fail-safe default but it still keeps turning off. Nope no error at all, it just completely shuts off. Theres no OS installed onto it, thats what ive been trying to do but i cant exactly do much when it keeos turning off. But ill definitely give blowing all the dust out a try. Fun fact i have the exact same mitherbaord and CPU thats in this oc in my actual rig, this one just seems to need some "attention"

Hm after you done that without any improvement i would disconnect everything from the motherboard that is not strictly necessary to get the PC to post and within the BIOS. Including any storage as there is no OS installed anyway. When the PC will keep powered on after you did that start plugging things back in 1 by 1 while test booting every time until the issue returns. Then you know which part cause the issue.
