Hey everyone

Today I'm gonna build a new rig which I be using for both gaming and video editing and I decided to go with the following

CPU: Ryzen 2700X (since the 3600 isn't available here yet...)

MB: B450 prime plus asus

Here's where it gets a little tricky;

Ram: either 2x8GB 3000+MHz  or 1x16GB 3000+MHZ (for future upgrade). not sure which one to take...

Storage: 2TB WD blue + m.2 SSD blue 500GB OR a 1TB Samsung SSD EVO 860

*I already have a 750 EVO 250 GB and also a WD 1tb blue. 

I also have a 450 watt PSU. do I have to get a better one or it's gonna work fine?

also if you guys know any better replacements over all that would fall into the same price range I'd really appreciate your suggestions!

Ram: the dual channel kit

Storage is a personal decision based on what you use the computer for

 

What power supply is it? Probably should, no decent unit I personally know of is 480W

Hey,

I'm gonna be using this for gaming and also video editing. videos that are mostly longer than 30 mins. 

PSU is a 450V corsair, my bad!

I'd swap it out, it'll do fine but I would put a priority on swapping it out.

I would get a 500w with good ampage on 12v railing.  On idle system will use 120 to 140 watts and whle gaming it will go to 390watts ,, so 450 is cutting it close.  Which is why I say grab a 500w if you can and don't forget to use a power surge and what not.
