Weird detachable notebook issue

I'm using a Hp g210 detachable notebook for work and watching shows when I'm not home. It's a portable windows tablet with 2.5" drive supported keyboard dock. Recently I removet the inculuded 500gb slim HDD with a 250gb Sandisk SSD.

 

The problem is whenever I detach the tablet from the keyboard while a youtube video is streaming it causes windows to be unresponsive for certain task, like restarting or powering it off. The other issue is if I connect the keyboard again it does not work unless I restart the notebook. I'm also unable to use the ssd storage as well. It connects and caps lock light blinks like normal but trackpad or keyboard does not work in that state. I don't know what causes this problem.
