No sound after program start

Hi everyone,

 

I have a bit of a strange issue.

 

When I start certain programs (Battlefield 4 & Teamspeak, for now), I loose all audio. (In TS only after I connected to a server)

As soon as I close them, my audio comes back. 

 

In windows mixer it looks like everything got super quiet, because i can still see the green beams hopping around. Barely at least. But turning up volume doesn't help.

When i restart the windows-audio service, I get my audio back for everything except BF4 & TS while they still run. (e.g.: Youtube in browser, etc.)

I also loose my sound when I switch to the recording tab in the sound options. I don't think, I ever had that one before as well.

 

I already tried all common audio troubleshooting things and options, but nothing helped so far.

My only connected audio device is my Monoprice DAC/Amp per USB and my disconnected TV over HDMI. Everything else is deactivated.

 

I already had audio for both today sometimes, but it didn't stick unfortunately.

 

Hopefully someone of you has an idea what the issue is here.

 

 

Edit 1: Also happens in Discord when i go into a channel.
