So about 2 days ago I downloaded a sketchy torrent and realized pretty much immediately that it was a bad idea and uninstalled/deleted everything related to it as fast as I could. Now, when I start a game like Overwatch (which worked completely normally before this) it's dropping hella frames and also the whole system starts chugging and lagging really bad. So far I haven't noticed this with other games, but maybe these things are not even connected. I ran UserBenchmark and got ''running way below expectations'' on the CPU, GPU and SSD (i5-9600k; RTX 2070 and 970 EVO) I'm not detecting any unusual or high temperatures, but UserBenchmark says that the idle CPU usage is high (left a link down below). I also ran Malwarebytes and got like 3-4 files that were identified as a threat (quarantined and deleted all of them). Maybe reinstalling Overwatch would fix the issue ? Idk what else to say, all recommendations/solutions are welcome!

Best bet is to do a clean install of the OS, once something bad has penetrated the system you would be hard pressed to completely kill it with virus/malware software.

Yeah, I kinda expected it to come down to that.
