Hi,

I’m trying to clone my old laptop drive to a new SSD. The drive has 83gb has data on and my now drive is has 111gb free, when I try to clone it I get an error saying Insufficient space. The original HDD is 500gb but only has 83gb on it to clone. Am I missing something ?

Download AOMEI Backupper and follow this guide.

The reason it says that there's insufficient space is that 'Cloning' (with Macrium anyways) will take EVERYTHING including the empty space.
