BIOS Flashback question

I got a B450 Tomahawk MAX a few weeks ago. It has the BIOS Flashback button. I know how to use it to flash the bios but i was wondering about something else.

If the power goes out during bios update you can brick your board (and have to end up sending it back)

 

Does Bios Flashback button help with this? Can you re-do the flashing process in the case where the power goes out the 1st time you try?
