Upgrades

Hi all, I have a problem. I am currently thinking of upgrading system.

I have a:

XFX rx 570 4gb

fx 8300 

12 gb ram

decent cpu cooler

 

I was planning on upgrading my cpu, mobo and ram (im on ddr3 ram) to a ryzen 5 2600 but upgrading my graphics card seems like a good option too.

I play basically just fortnite and rainbow six atm.

what's your performance target?

stable 144 fps at least

dropping frames and feels a bit laggy atm

for 144 fps your CPU should be the priority. The 570 can do high frames in R6S if you reduce the settings.
