Hard Drive disconnection problems

I have a problem with my pc, everytime I open my computer, in about 20-30 seconds, the hard drive disconnects. This has been happening for about an hour now. 

 

I have used avast and it has been ineffective, so I am not sure if the problem is the software or hardware.

 

I use windows 7 and if any other specs or info is needed, just comment it and ill reply to it.
