*I'm actually paying people from the site I'm ordering from to assemble it (25€ extra)

So I'm 14, my budget is really tight as you can imagine. Note that I have already ordered the computer so changes to the build aren't possible, I just want opinions. Let's get into the parts then:

AMD Ryzen 2600 clocked at 3.4GHz (I can OC it a bit, though my mobo isn't made for OCing)

Gigabyte B450M DS3H

MSI GeForce GTX 1050Ti 4GB OC (dated, also a bottleneck, but that just leaves headroom for the CPU so it's fine)

2x8GB of Adata XPG Gammix 3000MHz RAM (Bad choice? Maybe, but it was on sale so I might as well just choose the cheaper option, 16GB is 16GB)

CoolerMaster Liquid Master 240 Lite CPU (water-cooling, maybe stupid on my end)

 1TB Barracuda @ 7200RPM

WD Green 240GB M.2 SSD (low-end, I know)

A 60Hz 1080p 21" Acer monitor (I needed it to be as cheap as possible)

CoolerMaster Elite V3 500W Bronze 80+ PSU

And a basic case that was the cheapest compatible one I can find. Not going for aesthetics.

No Windows, I got a completely legal volume key for Enterprise since my mum works in a government agency.

I got a decent enough mouse and keyboard. Now before you start saying the build is either bad or that I could've gotten something better for a little more money, my budget is very strict and everything's ordered already. Now let's get to the price:

Around 700€ with the monitor incl. VAT.

Now here's where I come from. A 2015 Lenovo with an i7-5500u and an r5 m330 GPU. Not bad for basic tasks, but certainly not good for anything else. I have always in my life either used a 1024x768 monitor or a 1366x768 monitor, so 1080p 60Hz is an improvement. I have always also been on an HDD, so even at this low-end SSD, the speeds will amaze me, hopefully. Same goes for graphics, and CPU will be a huge improvement although I don't usually do CPU heavy tasks anyway.

So that's it! The PC comes on Saturday and I hope everything goes fine, so what do you all think :p?

PS I've also gone for upgradability potential and I think this build has that. Am I wrong or?

Hi!

You will enjoy it; esp the sdd speed as you mentioned! World of difference.

2600 is a heck of a $ to performance deal atm, so good job overall imho!

Watercoolling, yeah, given the strict budget air could have savd a bit, and less maintenance and perhaps noise, lesson learned. However it will allow you to experience having watercooling, thats worth something in the longer run.

Hope you enjoy every minute with it, at 1080p it should zip along nicely, esp when avoiding the "ultra" settings on some games (you wont miss anything by that).

Use it, get fammiliar with it; tweak, expand and upgrade someday and surely over time youll be confident enough to do the next build yourself :)

Enjoy!!

Bit of a waste, like you said, coolermaster coolers are not amazing. Removing this from the budget and saving for an upgrade later is idea.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Disagree, I have had this on several builds and it's actually not a bad performer. Have this on my OC Ryzen 1700 @3.9Ghz all core. Sits idle at around 25-35 depending on season... and when hammered with stress tests and multi-core performance, hits a max of around 55-70 depending on season also. Not bad for a cooler that cost me £43 and doesn't take up a whole hell of a lot of room in the case. Very quiet too, even on my mining rig I used to have that was open air and in my bedroom, could barely hear it across the room when trying to sleep, and if I did the noise was more likely to come from the 3x 1060 GPUs than the cooler.

Glad you think it's worth it, was worried about getting ripped off honestly.

That sounds nice, and yes I chose it because it was so cheap and yet had good reviews and stuff!

As I said I ordered it already. Whatever happens I can try my AMD stock cooler and (I doubt it) get better thermals.

Yep, when I got the first one I was really impressed with it... except the fans that come with it, I had to swap them out for some Corsair ML120s (2 for £20), it wasn't REALLY bad, but more an annoying ticking sound. But didn't have this problem on my second one that went in the miner build... and actually after the fact it could have been the case itself was a bit loose on the panels causing the vibration sound and not the fans... I couldn't be arsed to re-try the fans when I thought that might have been it.

I'll see on Saturday, I'm positive your issue isn't a common one from how you described it.
