Hello,

I Have an Asrock x370 SLI MOBO and i am planning upgrade to ryzen 3600 CPU

i'm gonna buy new memories (3600mhz) but on Asrock website, the compatibility list is not updated for matisse CPUs
Someone had problems with high speed ram on this MOBO ou older mobos? there is compatibility or not?

i guess since the memory controller is on the CPU itself, probabily theres is no problem, but i don't know for sure.

The Mobo seem like it does play a part in compatibility.

My buddy built a system some time ago with memory not detecting properly or not acting right.

It was a KLEVV set on a Gigabyte Aorus board and it was failing memtes86 left and right even at stock speed.

Ended up RMA'ing the memory for some Corsair Vengeance kit.

can you install the ram but it may not perform at its best capability.

the list online just tells you what has been verified officially. it will work if its not on the list

Yes, and to add AMD is very picky about RAM.  You might get 2133Mhz and stuck on it.  Also you need to flash the BIOS with USB stick and the button behind your mobo.  good luck
