Hi :)

I just won an eBay auction and got this PC for 100€:

CPU: Intel Core I5-4570 3,20 GHz

GPU: Intel Onboard Graphics
Board: ASUS B85M-E
RAM: 8GB DDR3 (4x 2GB Hynix DDR3-1333)
SSD: Intel DC S3500 2,5" (120GB)
PSU: FSP350-60GHN

I have 100€ left. (periphereals excluded)

How can upgrade it, so that i get the max FPS? Which GPU should i look for?

Thx alot for your help :D

(if u think that the deal was bad, i can still return it)

eBay RX 470/570 is the best choice for that budget, unless you snag a great deal on a 480/580, assuming this is for gaming.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Can the PSU run with an RX580? Seasonics PSU calculator says 380W but Bequiets says 310W...

(i will buy SATA to 6/8Pin adapters.)

the amount of wattage is reasonable (psu calculators are known to overestimate by a lot)

however if you need to buy adapters, the PSU is not up to the task. Not if this is a system you care about and want to last. I suggest getting a 570 and use the rest of the money for a better power supply, and you can check out out PSU tier list to find out more.

in my region are gtx 970s as cheap as rx570s (75€). Is it a better idea to go with the 970+25€ for new psu?

A 970 is similar in performance to a 570 so go with whichever you get a better deal on.

As for 25€, no way that's getting you a PSU that's any good. I suggest seeing what kind of cash you can scrape together. This PSU is basically the cheapest you should go:

provided Germany is an applicable market.

Sounds like an S12II or M12II, which are terrible units

Oh I misread, you said coolermaster but for some reason I saw seasonic

That's even worse. The Disasterwatt Lite is utter garbage.

oh, so i shouldnt buy it even though it is a Tier C (Prebuilt Replacement)?

If it's a gaming PC and you plan to upgrade beyond the most basic hardware, tier B is the bare minimum. Tier C level PSUs are for systems with either no or very low power graphics cards, generally speaking.
