I had an Bluescreen today. Thats why I updatet all my drivers and since then my gpu is kinda breathing. like spinning up faster than it should be and then stopping again. (its a relativly new build but I had the GPU from the build before).

Card is a 980ti btw.

i made a gif of the behaviour. You can see that it should constantly be at 10% fan speed, but goes much higher and then stops.

I tried reinstalling the drivers with ddu before but it didnt matter. Even a custom fan curve didnt matter. The fans would both spin up, but in the same breathing rythm as in idle would spin even faster and lower.

Obious question is: Does anyone know a way to fix it?

My Gigabyte windforce does the same thing. Set the fan minimum speed to 40% and it'll stop cycling.
