Beamng.drive Random bsod

i have been having issues where i will be playing beamngdrive and out of nowhere BAM! bsod. and it doesn't show error codes. i am running 0.17.2

It could be any number of things from a Hard Disk starting to fail to a ram error.

it doesn't happen on any other game i have left it running stress tests for a day and it will not stop working

Try a repair\reinstall of the game.

BSOD's should be under "critical" or somewhere in the "Windows Logs > System" tabs on the left.

Without knowing what the actual code is we can only assume what it may be based on circumstance.

So heres some questions that can narrow that down:

1) Does this happen in any other application?

2) Do you monitor your temperatures, if so, what are they? (cpu intensive applications like beamng can raise temps, high temps can cause thermal shutdowns)

3) Do you have any mods or modded content installed?
4) is there a specific action within beamNG that causes the bsod or is it entirely random?
 

Also generally, can you post your system information? A screenshot of piriform speccy ideally.

 

error code 10016 distributed com. just this program. no errors were detected when i ran the games integrity check. i do monitor my temps and they never exceed 160F no mods, entirely random ( it will happen when i am not even doing anything in the game just the car idling at spawn.

For beamng, if its completely random it could be any number of things, it may be bad hardware but if youre not seeing it in anything else i highly doubt it.

Have you tried just a full reinstall of beamNG? i mean everything, purge it from the PC, reinstall.

I'd go to the actual BeamNG forums. For an issue like this the devs are pretty active and will get back to you pretty quickly. They always have any time I've reported issues.
