Mechanical Keybaord help

I've never used Kingston's keyboards, but I own and love my Logitech G610 I use at my call centre job typing for hours every day. I have the Cherry MX Brown version because I didn't want to get shot by my coworkers for the noise, and purchased a set of rubber O-ring dampeners from eBay to make it even quieter. Definitely recommend, if you're looking for a quieter but still tactile mechanical keyboard.

Looking to get a new mechanical keyboard (cherry mx brown). Right now my options are the Kingston HyperX Alloy FPS and the Logitech G610. Wandering which would better, or if there are cheaper options that are just as good.

Be sure to check out the Logitech G513 Silver or regular black. It’s got amazing switches and the best damn wrist rest in the game. Key travel is amazing and perfect (for my hands of course). The keyboard is a bit loud, not too sure if that’s an issue, but it’s a very great keyboard for the price.

It’s also built very well. I use it daily and it’s never caused me a problem. It’s also really easy to clean :)

If you don’t go with the Logitech G513, go with the G610. Logitech makes amazing gaming keyboards.

If you want volume wheel and media controls get g610, if not, HyperX is a good board, if you are fine wit not having that volume wheel and dedicated media keys, consider GMMK, it's a modular board, with many many switch you can choose from, and you can switch them when/if you want later, also, Logitech uses thin abs keycaps, they tend to start to shine very quickly and are hard to replace in the case of g610, and pretty much impossible with the boards with romer g switches, if you buy hyper X or GMMK there are bunch of great quality thick PBT doubleshot caps that you can get. Also, if you would be fine with not having lighting and the board being TKL, you should get this: https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_list&c=169 this board is vastly superior to everything on the mass market, the caps are the best you can get without going into custom keyboard territory,it's a superb choice. Leopold also makes full size boards, you can look that up.

G513 comes only with romer g, or loud clicky switches, so you must choose between loud as fuck switches, or impossible to change caps in the case of romer g, also romer g are not everyone's cup of tea, and must be tried before buying. Also, the wrist rest is nothing special, nothing to rave about for sure, and there aren't such thing as a gaming keyboard, just marketing, nothing more.

I'd say the HyperX Alloy FPS is the better of the two for value. If I remember correctly, you're able to choose what switch you want it to come with between Cherry Red, Blue, & Brown, and a quick Amazon search shows Kailh switches but I'm not sure if that applies to you. So you have a choice with what switch you'd like if you go with the HyperX Alloy FPS.
