hi people.

since we got problems with our internet we are working on a solution with our ISP, but besides that im also monitoring the router myself to see if i see anything interesting in the log files.

roughly 1-2 days ago this appeard, i kept on for 2 minuts and showed up roughly 2 times a second, one IP-adress is form bejing china and the other is in the netherlands but owned by a company in the United States.

anybody knows what is exactly going on here?

the 124. one is form bejing and the 82. one is form the United states but appears to be located in the netherlands.

see attached file for picture.

firewall yes. zyxel will have issues with that number of requests and will probably lock up.

not necessarily some one trying to hack you could be a company has entered the wrong ip into some sort of server automated process and its just happens to be you.  2x a second is not that fast, but it might be the fastest it can log it.

the best solution here is to change you ip with your isp.

if your on a fixed ip because of a web server or corporate reasons your going to need to invest in some proper network infrastructure devices that have real firewalls and can handle people throwing poo at them.
