Help balance budget

Hey, I'm planning on build my first tower after years of playing on laptops. I will be following the recommendations so it can be easier for everyone.

 

1. Budget & Location

1300€ in Portugal, so items can be a bit more expensive.

 

2. Aim

Gaming and the usual use like watching streams, browsing the internet and likewise.

 

3. Monitors

One for now, two in the future. 1080p 144hz is enough for now.

 

4. Peripherals

None needed. Besides monitor but I can do that myself.

 

5. Why are you upgrading?

Honestly, the charger for my laptop died, so I'm using that as an excuse to update from my 3.5 year old laptop instead of buying a replacement.

I have some extrastorage so that 256 is enough for now.

I dont really want a 5700/5700 XT.

looks good. I'd probably look for a tomahawk max instead of the standard tomahawk, and wouldn't a 2060 Super be enough for 1080 144hz?

note that you will need to do a bios update to have your 3600 in a b450 board
