Blue screen

Hi guys I just bought myself a gaming pc my pc consists of a AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, Bilistics 3000 8gb ram DDR4, MSI x570 A Pro motherboard, MSI Radeon RX580 8GB. So I started loading windows and if I start downloading or installing programs the pc freezes and gives a blue screen that stats Clock watchdog. So I reset motherboard default Bios settings I installed all the drivers and still have this problem I have even updated the motherboard bios to the latest.

Could this be a hardware comparability problem or is there something else?

likely DOA board or DOA CPU. 

 

what memmory slots are you running? are you runnning the recommended one according to what is displayed in the manual?

Hi yes I am using the ram slots recommended by the motherboard.

How will I be able to test where the problem is coming from?

do a memtest aswell to see if that kick up any errors. 

 

does say cinebench run?

 

if it crashes under the lightest load. 

 

then i think i would take the oppertunity to return the board and possibly CPU. unless someone else has a solution.

run cinebench, if it crashes then its either mobo or CPU. 

 

if a memmory test fails then its mobo or Ram. 

 

run with a single ramstick to see if that solves the issue.
