Hi am planning on saving up for a new desktop replacement. Which has a AMD Phenom II X-6 1045 T & A 670 GPU. And am wondering what would be a good upgrade from that system for playing high end games like Cyberpunk 2077 & also other high end games & as well high end flight sims like the new one from Microsoft coming out in 2020. And am wanting to play these games on high/max settings with smooth frame rates. Also what would be a good Nvidia & or a ryzen setup for under 800$? And should I get one off the self?

what's your performance target?

this should do

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

I'm looking to game at 60 FPS & High/Max settings With either a 5700 TX or a 2070 Super. But not a Radeon 560 as I don't want to end up getting a 670 type setup or feel like I'm cutting corners with a I-5. And hopefully a I-7 or a ryzen equivalent to the I-7;

5700XT might not fit in your budget, the parts list I linked earlier is pretty optimal for your budget. If you sold your PC first to supplement your budget and saved up a bit more, tossing a 5700XT into that parts list would work really well

If you cam sell some old hardware, keep your external drive for storage. And stretch your budget 200$

You can go with:
Ryzen 2600 <$130

(use the stock cooler at first)
save up to get a better cooler so you can overclock it next year.
X470 Asus Rog Strix Gaming MOBO ~$162 (you could swap this for something a bit cheaper to save as well if you dont need as many features)
16gb Gskill 3200mhz Memory - ~$105
256G SSD for you boot drive - $20-40 (take your pick plenty of choices)
Your old HD - for your games FREE
Your SFX XT5700 $400
EVGA BQ 600 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply $70

and you can put this all inside an NZXT H500 or equivalent case for $70

Shop The Sales - look for used hardware where possible and you can probably save a few extra bucks.

  TOTAL = $976.04 (after a $20.00 mail in rebate)

It's doable but it might be stretching your budget a bit but very worth getting creative with your finances and saving up.
