Ok so I messed up, had thermal paste on cpu pins and inside motherboard cpu socket.
Took out of the case, gave a clean. Won't power on. Shortening pins wont work either.

Pushing powersupply connector on mobo as hard as possible will power. Weird

So i'm thinking of grabing this from amazon :

ADMI COMPONENT BUNDLE: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 Quad Core 3.4GHz CPU, ASUS Prime A320M-K Motherboard Bundle - No RAM

£110

OR Alternative

Ryzen 1200 from local shop for £56

MSI A320M PRO-M2 V2 for £48

My worry is that both motherboards have x16 slots NO x8. And my 1050 ti wouldnt work on b350 prime plus in it. So i'm kind of worried in a way.

What to do ?

A320 motherboards are terrible, even the cheapest B450 motherboard is preferable. What kind of options would you have?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Quick amazon search on b450 I see potential

Gigabyte B450M DS3H,

MSI B450M PRO-M2,

I do not need fancy atx motherboard. Won't be overclocking anyway.

I have heard from a friend that his A320 only lasted a year. ? Definitely go with a b450 preferably a cheaper x470 like the Asus prime X470 pro.

In my case x470 is overkill for 1st gen ryzen. I'd have to go to 2nd or 3rd gen. But then price would triple. Gonna check b450 in local shop tomorrow, wanna see what they'd recommend

Spoiler

Intel 9900k, 2080ti when I come looking for b450

I totally understand. I would recommend not going with gigabyte but instead with the msi; as msi is much more reliable.
