MacBook pro charger

I am looking for advice on MacBook pro chargers. I've gone through two in the last four years(1 Apple and 1 3rd party), and I think it's due to the way I use them. I use it to stream ALOT of videos and game on it (I try to anyways lol) After using either of them for a half hour of either, they are somewhere between hot to the touch, and impossible to hold. I understand that they will get hot, but ive had to start putting them between 2 old heat sinks. Imagine that, apple can't manage their thermals... Now looking for my third charger, and hopefully someone can point me in the direction of something that can't fry an egg. Thanks in advance for any and all help

Which Macbook Pro? Newer one with Type-C ports or older one with Magsafe 2 ports? My Type-C 87W charger gets warm, but nothing ridiculously hot.

Don't use 3rd party chargers unless you want to damage the battery or logic board. Most of the ones that are sold are super cheap garbage and don't meet specification at all. Your heat issue could have been compounded because of the knock off charger.
