Uh no it's not, did you see he said "a 500 pound budget" and not "500 dollars".  He's not in the US market.

I am looking for a new gpu so i can replace my rx 570 8gb i have a 500 pound budget and my cpu is a ryzen 5 3600x wich i recently upgraded to i do love amd but i am preferably looking at nvidia because i do play a lot of xplane 11 and most of its rendering is open gl and i do love the nvidia drivers more than amd's. I am not a fanboy of amd or nvidia so i dont mind what card but i was looking at like a reference rtx 2070 super though it may be a bit over kill becuse i game at 1080p 60 herts.  my psu is a corsair cx550m

The EVGA RTX 2080 Black edition is right at that price point,  however its overclocking potential is severely limited due to it being a non-binned chip (think 100-200Mhz less than the average overclock of a binned 2080)

Specs: Motherboard: Asus X470-PLUS TUF gaming (Yes I know it's poor but I wasn't informed) RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX DDR4 3200Mhz CL16-18-18-36 2x8GB

CPU: Ryzen 9 5900X          Case: Antec P8     PSU: Corsair RM850x                        Cooler: Antec K240 with two Noctura Industrial PPC 3000 PWM

Drives: Samsung 970 EVO plus 250GB, Micron 1100 2TB, Seagate ST4000DM000/1F2168 GPU: EVGA RTX 2080 ti Black edition

a 2080 is, in my opinion, beyond the point of diminishing returns. In your case i'd look for the most cost effective solution, which in my opinion would be either a 2060 super, an rx 5700 or a 5700 xt. And then save the rest for a monitor upgrade in the near future

@temperdpizza You have yet to answer this.  What exact thing does your current GPU not do that you need a faster one to do?  What are we aiming for, because your current card can do 1080p gaming.  If I knew how much GPU you actually need I could know how much budget is left over for a potential monitor upgrade.

Isn't that 611 USD? The 2080 black is ~490 GBP

Pray tell where you see it for that price.  All the UK places that PcPartPicker scans shows lowest 2080 price is around £589.97

Oh I see where your assumption comes from.  You think you can just convert USD to GBP in a currency converter and that's the price in his country, yeah no, you cannot assume that.  Not unless you're going to export it to him and pay the VAT and customs to buy it in the US market and ship it to wherever in the UK the OP is.

@LogicWeasel well I would like a gpu that will be a good 1440p gaming card becuse I would like a monitor upgrade I also would like to run games at ultra settings without frame rate fluctuations like I get on my rx 570 8gb

In that case I'd look at a monitor like this one:

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/qnqhP6/samsung-lc27jg50qqnza-270-2560x1440-144hz-monitor-lc27jg50qqnza

(can save a little if you don't value 144Hz or curved with an option like this: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/8wQG3C/acer-nitro-vg240yu-238-2560x1440-75-hz-monitor-nitro-vg240yu )

For GPU your best bang/buck right now is the RX 5700 Navi:  https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/FD2bt6/sapphire-radeon-rx-5700-8-gb-pulse-video-card-11294-01-20g

But if you insist on NVIDIA for game-optimization reasons then you'd get a bit less fps/quid or have to go higher price:  https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/cGXYcf/gigabyte-geforce-rtx-2060-super-8-gb-gaming-oc-video-card-gv-n206sgaming-oc-8gc

I bet you it's a 1080p card in BFV too. ultra textures and filtering only cost memory and the rest is subjective at best. So just play on low.

I play on ultra textures medium lightning at near double the fps on 4k on a rx 580. haters gonna kvetch.

low- medium settings fps is more relevant than ultra setting smaking most benchmarks useless.

CPU: Ryzen 5500 GPU: RX 6800 RAM: DDR4 3200MHZ 48GB (2x8+2x16 GB)  MOBO: MSI B450-A PRO Display: 4k120hz with freesync premium.
