Yep windows 10 boot disk works with windows 8, tried and tested OK

Referring to this (https://itsfoss.com/uninstall-ubuntu-linux-windows-dual-boot/) and boot loader fix --> bootrec.exe /fixmbr

 

My issue is that the PC is running Windows 8 Pro and I got Windows 10 USB ISO from Microsoft - can I still perform above bootloader fix?
