Thinking about changing laptop

Hi

It's my first post on this forum and sorry for any grammar mistakes; I am alien 

 

So I had hard time getting stable 60 FPS in Apex Legends, instead I was getting all kind of memory related crashes during Elite Dangerous and Divinity: Original Sin 2(aparently 8GB RAM is lunch snack for any apps nowydays ).

I use Lenovo Y50-70 i7-4720HQ/GTX960M and was thinking about selling it for about 500$(including legit win 10 home but warranty expired) to buy MSI GL63(GL63 9SC) i5-9300H/GTX1650

 

I'm not 100% sure about my choice so here comes question: what do you think about this model?

Maybe you guys have better proposition for under-1000$ budget.

Where are you from? No preferences on weight and battery life?

Europe/Poland. I use my laptop as stationary thing(plugged to power 95% of time) that I can pick up and just travel to another place to use it stationary there so wieght and battery are not my main goals.
