recommend a fan controller please.

could you recommend a good fan controller? need at least 5 channels. don't need pwm would prefer non software controll or a linux compatible software.

I live in misery USA. my timezone is central daylight time which is either UTC -5 or -4 because the government hates everyone.

Does your case have 3.5" or 5.25" bay? If not, then better to just do it with motherboard. Hardware based fan controllers, and specially those with knobs etc. are dying breed. Cases don't have bays for them any more, and motherboards have way better support overall for fans and RGB. Aerocool and Lamptron are the notable ones. I don't have personal experience from either, mine was from Scythe.

I'm gonna have to say pick whats available. If you happend to find more than one controller that has 5 channels and goes to 5.25" slot, go with known manufacturers. Thermaltake, Aerocool and Lamptron.
