Need help with spec opinions...

Hey all! So I’m trying to build a PC here in the near future and I want to stream and work on it for high school. I would like to keep it under $1200 but I have NO IDEA on what specs I need?. I am going to be running Streamlabs, an Elgato HD60S connected to a PS4, and that’s about it to be honest. I just have no idea what power and specs I would need to consistently stream 1080p60fps without drops in quality. Any help would be appreciated!

I'd suggest not caring about 1080p60 first (as well as about crazy bitrates and presets). Watch EposVox on youtube, there are a lot of pieces of advice on streaming and such.

The best way to stream right now is either with Ryzen or new NVENC on Turing cards (GTX 1660/1660 Ti, RTX 2060 and better).

Purify your Windows 10/11, don't give Microsoft anything that you don't want to share.

Ah ok. Thanks for the help. I’ll tale that into consideration ?
