P.S update : My ram has been acting normal again.

Hello,

At the end of October i bought my gaming pc. Since a month or 2-3 i have been noticing my ram is acting stange.

A lot of times it just jumps up to an usage of 98%. I check my task  manager and i see something like this http://gyazo.com/de7508ebdcb737b354c67ef2af73e7d0.png

I only have chrome running and even when you add up all the mb its taken it is nowhere near the 8gb of ram i got.

Even when i close chrome and other programs, my ram usage sticks at +90%. The only way to make it go down is to do a full restart.

It is happening a lot and my pc also starts slowing down pretty badly.

I did some scans and did not find any virus or infected stuff.

Please help me

My specs:

- MSI Z87-G45

- GTX 770

- i5 4670K OC to 4.0Mhz

and of course my ram Corsair vengeance 2x4gb ddr3-1600

Windows 8.1 64 bit

Edit: http://gyazo.com/6f3d011020b1dfa80e5234efb73c2945.png when i close chrome, skype and the other junk my ram drops to like 80% and when i open it back up the usage raises to 90-100% again.

A friend suggested to update my bios. I updated from 1.2 to 1.6.

15 minutes in now. Opened chrome, downloading some other drivers and i have skype open and it is sitting at 33% ram usage.

Hopefully it stays this way.

i will update the thread in 1 hour and let you know if its still going good.
