Ryzen 5 3600 BSOD issues

Hi, 

 

I recently built a new system for my sister using a Ryzen 5 3600 processor, MSI mortar B450 MAX, 16 gigabytes of Corsair 3200 speed RAM, Samsung 860 EVO, and RX 570.

 

I can't get any programs/drivers installed smoothly without having a freeze (and when I turn off/on the monitor it's plugged into it gives me a green screen) or a BSOD (clock watchdog timeout).

 

Does anyone have these issues as well? What kind of fixes are there?

Install chipset for B450 chipset, update bios to latest version, turn on AMD cool 'n quiet in BIOS, make sure every fan is connected properly (so you know its not overheating) in bios turn on A-XMP (Profile 1 or 2). See if this helps. Also, make sure you're doing a clean install of windows.
