For my new computer build i am using a Wireless PCIe card (The TP-Link T9e). So as I had to discover the hard way this network card does not always take kindly to Windows 10. I already had this card and wanted it my new build because i like not having to drag cables around to sustain an internet connection.. Also i wanted to make a dual boot hackintosh on the new build and the default wireless on mobo's now are intel which will not work on the hackintosh.

 

Long story short, i tried a bunch of different (older) drivers, and moving the tp-link card to diferent PCIe slots I finaly got to work flawlessly. Both on the windows and the Hackintosh.

 

However as yesterday i am greeted with a failing wifi connection. When trying to connect to any wifi i get a 'Cannot connect' error and if by some miracle i manage to connect the internet is INCREDIBLY slow, like i cant even load a webpage or get to the modem webpage. And get a 'latency fail' on speedtest.net.
This goes both ways on the hackintosh and windows boots..

 

The only fix i have found to work is by removing the 3 antenna's on the back. This immediately allows me to connect to any network and work flawlessly (except for the loss of reception..) This fix works on the hackintosh boot also..

Different PCIe slots have no effect and no updates to the bios, windows or hackintosh has been applied.

 

None of my other devices have issues with the home network (iphone, android phone, macbooks, not tried a windows computer yet but i have a notebook if testing would seem required).
 

The problem does not appear to be linked to the home network as i have tested on a mobile hotspot with similar results.

 

Mainly what baffles me is how does removing the antenna's solve the problem?

MSI Gaming X Z390 mobo

Intel I5 9600

Ballistix DDR4 3000mhz 16G (2x8)
