Hello hello!

I've been getting a screen flicker on my main monitor for quite a while now. It started only a few days ago. Didn't update my NVIDIA driver in the time span. It happens in games rarely, but when just browsing the web, it happens more often.

Main monitor: PG279Q

2nd monitor: PG278Q

Set with 165 and 144hz respectively. I've been reading multiple forums about this issue, and somewhat have quite the list of reasons why this is happening.

I'd also like to note today's gaming session gave me a new issue. I play my game (FFXIV) in fullscreen windowed and usually move to my 2nd monitor to do some multitasking (check discord, browse websites). When I moved the cursor from the Main monitor (FFXIV running) to the 2nd monitor, the cursor went all glitchy-like (in the 2nd monitor). As in you cant see the arrow anymore and its all pixely (where the missing cursor arrow was). Then when I move my cursor back to the main monitor where FFXIV is currenty running it freezes the game for a second then goes back to normal. After that, going back to the 2nd monitor seems to be fine, no glitchy pixel cursor.

Happened 2-3 times today.

Just wanted to ask here knows whats going on and f there is any solution to this problem.

Thanks!

Turn on the onscreen FPS counter, it might be system lag causing you to dip to 30ish fps, when loading games I get this flicker on my pg278QR(TN version of your monitor)

I'm pretty sure it happens when the framerate dips too low or something like that. I don't experience it outside of games however, but I have g-sync only enabled for fullscreen games.
