Hey,

I cleaned my pc yesterday (took it apart, dusted it) and tried a new cooler (but it has plastic straps that don't fit on the backplate for a screwing cooler, but i cant find the other backplate that doesn't have threads) put in an EK m.2 on my NVME drive and put everything back.

Now the pc won't boot.

- I have tried different RAM configurations and new RAM sticks

- The CPU gets hot (i booted for half a sec without cooler to check)

- tried mobo video output and i tried without graphics card

- CMOS battery is fine,i tested it. But if i take it out an boot, there is nothing different.

When i boot, all fans start spinning like a normal boot, the rgb and led's turn on. Everything seems to work properly but i never get and video output.

Mobo is msi mpg z390 gaming edge ac, the ez debug leds show RAM all the time, CPU turns in for a blink and then back RAM

So looks like the DRAM light is lit up. Did you try individual sticks in each memory slot to see if you get a post? My guess is you may have bent some pins when fiddling around with the cooler and such. I would take it apart and closely inspect the pins of the socket with as much magnification as you can.

Check the socket for bent pins. Check all the connections. Try booting outside the case with only the most necessary parts connected.

I did try different RAM configs, didn't seem to work. I have an appointment with a doctor for my ear in 20, so ill check the pins when i get back. But I've been hella careful with the pins and CPU.

you can be as careful as you want... it still happens as the pins are hella fragile

I noticed at boot, ez debug led starts at cpu, then immediately goes to dram and stays on dram. While the led above the ramslots work on every possible combination with any of 6 sticks i have
