Hey guys, it has been a few years since I have used my GearVR and was wondering has there been any advancements in using your phone in a GearVR with a PC? Similar to an Oculus?

Everything I have is wireless, and should work pretty well I think? Wireless Xbox one controller, wireless headphones and a dedicated 5ghz wifi hotspot. Sounds like all the right ingredients for a complete wireless experience if the application is sorted, right?

There are applications like https://riftcat.com/vridge that allow this. Most will want payment and the experience isnt 100%. I personally love my oculus and wouldnt go back to using my phone as a VR device. It all depends on each user and they they wish to do.
