Posted August 3, 2019 I have no idea re AMD, its been many years since I used AMD but re ram and intel platform the ram you have is probably running at stock ands you may need to increase the ram voltage in bios, I have G.Skills TridentZ purchased as 3600Mhz but at stock bios voltage (1.2v) its runs at 2133, when I push the voltage to (1.36v) I get the 3 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) Tested Latency 15-17-17-35 Tested Voltage 1.35V Tested Speed 3000MHz SPD Latency 15-15-15-36 SPD Speed 2133MHz SPD Voltage 1.2V Speed Rating PC4-24000 (3000MHz) Compatibility Intel 100 Series,Intel 200 Series,Intel 300 Series,Intel X299
 Posted August 3, 2019 The idle temps are just fine! The new Ryzen chips run a littler warmer and have a bit higher voltage, but that's normal for them. I pretty much get the same exact temps with the 3900x and the same voltages.
