Question about my first biuld

Wich one should i use? Modern games and some light Adobe suite use, i play mostly Destiny 2

 

i5-9600k and a 1660ti: Cost in US dolars 723,83.

or

i5- 9400F and a 2060.: Cost in US dolar 725,10.

 

i´m not from the US btw.

 

The rest of the build is:

MSI MAG Z390

Ballistick Sport 8gb 2666

Seasonic Plus 650 Gold

Crucial Aorus 250 nvme

and where are you located, what do you already have and what's your final budget?

Have you bought the other parts yet? If not, ignore the 9600k and 9400f, and instead go for the ryzen 5 3600. It offers the same performance, but gives you 6 more threads, meaning it won't be a stuttery mess like those i5's will be in the next few years.

 

But if you ABSOLUTELY have to pick between those two, go with the 9400f and 2060.

 

The better choice would be ryzen 5 3600 + 5700 (or 2060 if you really don't want an amd gpu because of the blower design etc)

I have limited stuff here, im from Chile, and i only have the case, the ssd and the power supply.

 

What recomendation can you give me?

aw... because i would've replaced the psu if you didn't already. but it's fine for now

 

if you want everything out of adobe, get something from intel with an igpu, if you want something balanced, look at zen 2 as well

and if i think only in the games? what procesor and gpu combo should work for the best?

I'd say something like a 3600 wouldn't be bad

 

through they do currently have some issues, it should be fixed very soon

3600 is out for stock right now, and i believe for a long time where i live.

No. If you can't get a 3600X go for the i5-9600K
